After a series of transit and flights, you are finally here in Tanzania, and you will soon find out that the long trip was well worth it. Your safari guide will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Have a good night’s rest before your early start tomorrow morning.
Day 2 | Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, travel overland to Tarangire National Park and begin your first safari day. Tarangire is a savanna woodland dotted with monumental ancient baobabs alongside the most magnificent herds of African elephants found in Northern Tanzania. Tarangire River provides water all the year round, making Tarangire NP a critical refuge during dry season for migratory ungulates, resulting in sheer densities of wildlife.
Day 3 | Lake Manyara National Park
Travel overland to Lake Manyara National Park, stopping en-route for a Mto wa Mbu village market. Spend the rest of your day exploring the acacia woodlands backdropped by the spectacular Great Rift Valley. Lake Manyara is one of the best parks in Africa for birdwatching as it hosts over 400 species of birds.
Day 4-5 | Central Serengeti
Travel to the famous Seronera Valley in Central Serengeti and spend the next two days exploring the endless plains of Serengeti. With a network of river valleys supplying a stable source of water, the Seronera Valley is home to the world’s largest and diverse wildlife population of predators in the world. An optional cultural activity is also available should you wish to visit a Maasai Village on the way.
Day 6-8 | Ndutu
Today, explore the Ndutu plains, a seasonal area tucked between the NCAA and Serengeti. Ndutu comes to life during the green season, offering incredible wildlife and Great Migration sightings. During a short time frame in February, typically only lasting 2-3 weeks, the majority of the wildebeest calf, hence the ‘calving season’. During this period, thousands of wildebeest calves are born everyday and can run within minutes after their birth.
Day 9 | Ndutu & Ngorongoro

Day 10 | Ngorongoro Crater & Depart for Home
Depart your lodging by 6:00am, head to the Crater Floor and be one of the first vehicles on the ground. You will descend into the crater through a lush highland forest. Afterwards, travel back to Arusha and drop-off at Kilimanjaro Airport (ETA 5-6pm) and connect to your international flight home.
